Fab Fit Friday--aka Saturday: Healthy Holidays

Sorry for the delay girls! We had minor technical difficulties getting the post up but I promise this post was worth the wait! Taralynn outdid herself  today. Keep reading to see what we mean.

Over the next couple months there will be so many holidays! Sometimes the most crafty food creations are in cookies, cakes, and other desserts.Instead of bringing the unhealthy desserts to parties and events try to get creative with fruits!

Choose which fruits you are going to use.

Cut the bottoms of the fruits flat so they lay nicely in a cupcake liner.

Save the bottoms of the fruits so you can make into toppings.

Instead of using frosting and chocolate to top off the dessert use Greek yogurt, peanut butter, pudding, or whip cream instead.

If you want to get really creative you can cut out the centers of the fruits and make a delicious filling.
Add a couple fruit slices and tsp of sprinkles for decorations.

You will save so much time making these snacks because there is less ingredients, no baking, cooling, or dishes full of batter.

I love how colorful they are and there are so many fruits out there that finding the right colors for the right occasions is easy as 1, 2, 3!

You also don't have to limit yourself to fruits, vegetables are also fun to work with!

For Halloween, I'm going to use green apples, oranges, w/ chocolate pudding and purple grapes!

Keep your holidays fresh, fun, and healthy!
