There are alot of colors but they all work well together.

Must Shop Monday: Cyber Monday!

This week we're going to pause Must Read Monday. I'm sorry but after Thursday I entered a food coma which was followed by prepping for the biggest shopping season. Oh Holidays...I love you but man oh man do you wear me out! Now I have nothing but respect for people that go out on Black Friday to get awesome deals but me, I'm more of a Cyber Monday girl. I sign up for e-mails for my friend's favorite stores--please notice I said my friend's fav stores not mine lol (coincidentally sign up for Windsor e-mails here) that way I can see what type of deals those stores are running. I write out a list of what I need and who I need to shop for. I get my coffee ready and let my fingers do the shopping. Now most stores will either have a discount code or automatic savings. Windsor's code is cybermonday and it applies to e-very-thing all day today. Now today is probably too late to sign-up for e-mails but I am going to let you in on my not so secret shopping tip. Head on over to and type in the name of the store you want to shop at and it will spit out any available coupons. Be wary the majority of these coupons are user submitted so some may be fake so make sure to mark the little red x to let the other shoppers to not waste their time on it.Lat tip is be aware of the return policy when shopping online. Most stores edit their normal return policy for the holidays but make sure that you aren't buying something that you may need to return or exchange from a web store with a rigid or short return policy. Now enough reading and go get some presents and don't forget to get something for yourself ;)

Tell us if you have any Cyber Monday shopping tips in the comments!

Three Way Thursday: Thanksgiving Edition

So this week our three way Thursday is a little different. Instead of styling one piece three different ways we decided to give you three totally different looks for Thanksgiving. Here we go.

The first looks is semi dressy but definitely comfortable. by adding tights to the look we can manage to stay warm and cute.

Top//Skirt//Wedges//Knee His//Bracelet//Beret

The second look is possibly my favorite. I love dresses but I am a skirt girl through and through. This look is totally comfy and cute. The knee highs will keep you warm and how adorbs is the pleated skirt and the beret.

The last look is a little bit more forward but it's still fun. It's a little bit more rock but still perfect for Thanksgiving.

Inspiration Wednesday: Friends!

Via Pinterest
Ok so how many of you love Friends as much as I do? I constantly find myself quoting specific parts of it. I mean seriously, how many of you have used Joey's famous "How you doin'?"
Today I decided to use this episode as the color inspiration for the outfit. What do you think?

Bonus part about this outfit is that the color palette is perfect for the season.

Must Read Monday: Dream Chaser by Angie Stanton

Amazon: $2.99

What It's About:
I can't even tell you how I ended up with this book on my Kindle but I'm glad that I had it because it was a really fun read. Dream Chaser by Angie Stanton centers around Willow Thomas, a competitive cheerleader who ends up quitting cheer after a nasty fall. In order to avoid her squad convincing her to go back she ends up joining the bog school play that is coming up. Willow used to dance and she's really good. Sure she needs a little help with her singing but that's not the worst of her problems. It turns out that the lead male role is played by her ex-bff Eli McAvoy, whom she abandoned without reason (at least that's what he thinks) 3 years ago.
Aside from that Willow is in for quite a time since her old squad hates her, the actors resent her and are icing her out and oh yeah who knew she still had feelings for Eli.

Why You Should Read It:
Willow goes through alot of things that I think most high school students have to deal with; falling outs with friends, guy issues, and confidence issues. This book has a good message about how to deal with these problems. Mainly, it tells you that you shouldn't run from your problems and fears because they don't go away. If anything, avoiding problems makes them seem bigger. I feel like Young Adult authors are tackling more realistic issues lately and that's amazing. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for supernatural stories with love triangles but every once in a while its refreshing to read about characters that seem relateable. It's nice to read about realistic issues and feel like maybe your problems are fixable and you CAN move forward and succeed. Bonus, the book is only 2.99 on the Kindle! What more could you ask for?

At this point you all know what Twilight is about. If you don't I don't know what to say....Instead of butchering the storyline I am going to insert the synopsis from AMC here:

In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Bella and Edward, plus those they love, must deal with the chain of consequences brought on by a marriage, honeymoon, and the tumultuous birth of a child which brings an unforeseen and shocking development for Jacob Black. With more of the romance, passion, intrigue and action that made Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse worldwide blockbusters.

Now since the movie isn't out yet we can't really review it but we will next week. In the meantime we want to give you a chance to go see it so we're giving you a $30 gift card to AMC theatres! Fab Fit...Day: Organizing Your Grocery Guide

We've been hard at work on a few projects that we'll be unveiling soon and we can't wait to show you! Sadly, we tend to lose track of time and forget to do certain things like laundry, eat lunch, oh and post our Fab Fit Friday post on Friday :/

I think this post from Taralynn is perfect for us given our forgetfulness lol. In fact I'll be giving this a try today otherwise who knows if I'll even remember I need groceries :)

Don't forget to check out Taralynn's Tumblr, Undressed Skeleton and follow her on Twitter for more tips!

Organizing Your Grocery Guide

Every week I like to make a grocery list, that way I don't find myself constantly running to the grocery store. Here are Ten easy ways to organize your grocery list for the week!

  1. Use several colors to categorize.
  2. On one side create a daily menu.
  3. On the other side write down the ingredients you need for those recipes.
  4. Make note of leftovers, so you don't over purchase items.
  5. After you create your grocery list browse the internet for coupons.
  6. Make circles or boxes to check off when you are shopping
  7. Try to categorize your items by aisles to make it much easier to shop. I used colors to categorize mine, sometimes I use sections.
  8. Make your grocery list in the kitchen, that way you know what you have already.
  9. Don't make your grocery list on an empty stomach!
  10. Don't grocery shop on an empty stomach!

Creating your own meals helps you know exactly what you are eating and allows you to make healthier choices. It also save es you so much more in the long run, because fast food and eating out at restaurants can rob your bank!

If you do give this list a try please post a link to it here or post it on our Tumblr page! We'd love to see.

Three Way Thursday: The Cord Shorts

Cord Shorts: $24.90

Ok so these shorts are a must buy for the season. Seriously, they are perfect! We had three different girls style them and we must say that we will be making a dent in our wallets after seeing their outfits.

The first look comes courtesy of one of our very own internet customer service agents. The tights aren't available yet but they will be in the next few days.

The second look comes courtesy of our tried and true S. Her look is a little more fashion forward but we love the lace and cord looks together!

The last look comes courtesy of our assistant bottoms buyer. Let's just say that when we saw her outfit our wallets cried a little.

Inspiration Wednesday: Candy Cane Cookies

via Pinterest
Ok so I know Christmas is still over a month away and believe me when I say that I support Ryan Seacrest's campaign to save Thanksgiving. I prefer to let each holiday have it's day without skipping ahead. Buuuuuuut when I came across this picture I knew it would be perfect inspiration for this week's outfit.

I think the color palette actually even works for Thanksgiving. You know, just don't carry Christmas cookies with you and you should be good ;)
